I just saw a very charming movie, and I’d like to recommend it here. It was called Miss Potter (2006, Chris Noonan). Starring Renee Zellweger, the movie detailed the life of Beatrix Potter, the famous creator of Peter Rabbit. It was a love story, and all of the press made it look like a Hallmark special. I would have never considered it if a friend hadn’t told me to see it.
I loved this movie. It was a testament to faith in oneself against the odds, and to the pure wonderment of life. I was also inspired by the gifts that Ms. Potter gave to her country. The scenery was stunning. This movie was a joy, and something you might want to look for next time you’re out and about and getting DVDs.
See you tomorrow!
